Xylitol is made from agricultural wastes as raw materials. It is prepared by hydrolysis, neutralization, bleaching, ion exchange, hydrogenation, concentration, crystallization, drying and so on. Xylitol is white crystal or powder, like sugar, heat and sweetness are similar to sugar. But it's metabolism in the body, do not rely on insulin, is a good adjuvant therapy and nutrition agent for diabetic. At the same time because of its unique physiological function and glycerol similar, it is widely used in food, military, chemical and other industries, has a broad market and good prospects for development.
