Lysine Continuous Granulation Coating Drying Project

  Lysine sulfate (or hydrochloride) divided into 65% lysine and 98.5% lysine.

  Before drying, 65% lysine sulfate is in a liquid state, and the dried products have strong moisture absorption. By spray drying, the resulting powder products are porous spherical, moisture absorption rate is very rapid, wall sticking in the drying tower is serious, and material discharge is very difficult. Because of the strong moisture absorption, the filter pocket in bag type dust collector is easy to be blocked and damaged. Although the spray dryer can be used, because the operation continuity and stability are worse, the production cost is higher and the single production capacity is smaller, so the spray drying is not the best drying method for 65% lysine.

Before drying, 98.5% lysine sulfate is loose crystals with uniform granularity size. It also has some typical characteristics in the drying process, such as easy to agglomerate in initial drying section, slow dehydration rate in the later stage of drying, low thermal efficiency and so on. If the matching of equipment structure and system is unreasonable, it will lead to poor continuous production capacity and high energy consumption.

After deeply analyzing the drying characteristics of 98.5% lysine, our company developed the 98.5% lysine special fluidized bed dryer.According to the characteristics of different drying sections, our company has carried out special design and system optimization, so that the system energy consumption has dropped significantly, and it can achieve long-term continuous production. Single production capacity can reach 30 000-50 000 tons / year.

 

The Production Method and Technological Process of Lysine Sulfate:

Using corn starch as raw material, through the liquefaction and saccharification to get saccharification liquid, adding nitrogen source and inorganic salt as nutrition, after sterilization, blow the sterile air, access to the strains, stir and ferment, timely supply the concentrated sugar solution and liquid ammonia in the process of fermentation, finally obtain high concentration lysine fermentation liquid at the end of fermentation.

Through multi-effect vacuum evaporation and concentration, fermented liquid turns into a concentrated solution, then through fluidized bed drying, spraying and granulation to make into granular 65% lysine products.

Device Advantages:

Master-batch (crystal, solid raw materials) enter into the fluidized bed through the feeding system, blowing-in the hot process air at the bottom of the fluidized bed, so that make the master batch form specific fluidization on the air distributing mesh belt of fluidized bed. Material particles form a specific gradient from the inlet to the outlet, through various forms of fluidized bed, to achieve the continuous drying, granulation and coating functions. Above functions, equipped with the specialized control systems, internal heating system and air supply system, have reached the latest combination height of current technology and equipment. It can achieve the following processes: the continuous drying process of solid products and large hygroscopic materials; the process that from liquid material continuously to get solid particles (can get all kinds of solid degree products); the continuous process that to obtain particles from powder state materials; the process that continuously to obtain the coated products with different release rate.
