The fan is necessary for drying equipment. It can make the air flow forced circulation, strengthen the dry heat exchange and evaporation of water in the material.

    According to the principle and function of the air blower, it can be divided into two types: centrifugal fan and axial flow fan. According to the pressure, it can be divided into three kinds: high pressure (3kPa), medium pressure (1 ~ 3kPa) and low pressure (no more than 1kPa). Wood drying equipment mostly uses low pressure and medium pressure fan.

    The axial flow fan is driven by the pressure of the blade to drive the gas flow. The direction of gas flow is parallel to the shaft. The axial flow fan is divided by the shape and quantity of the blade. Y series low pressure axial fan and B series axial fan are the most common axial fan.

    The axial flow fan used in wood drying equipment can be divided into two types: reversible (double material pile) and irreversible (single material pile). For the reversible fan, the shape of the blade cross section is symmetric. If it is asymmetric, the adjacent blades will be reversed at 180 degrees. Irreversible fan blade cross-section is asymmetric. It's more efficient.
